For me, the 3-4-3 formation doesn't work and if anything, takes away one of the real strengths of our squad - natural width with our wingers in Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech. Playing in a 4-2-3-1 formation (against their three-man defence and one holding midfielder) with Kai Havertz as number ten in behind Timo Werner will force Simeone to change tactics. We impose our game on them and attack.
I generally fear for the result tomorrow if we stick with our current formation and the way we are playing. I cannot see Tuchel changing, in that case, I give you the best options we have but I really, really hope he changes for the game tomorrow as, after all, this is Champions League knockout football and MUST take the game to them.
